MAK award postponed until 2021

The annual World Automotive Components (MAK) Awards will not take place this year. Due to the growing incidence of the COVID-19 coronavirus infection, the Moscow government has imposed a ban on mass events. In this regard, and primarily concerned about the lives and health of participants and visitors to the event, the organizers of the award are forced to decide to cancel the IAC 2020 ceremony and postpone it to 2021.
Recall that the event has been held since 2012. Each year, the winners of IAC award, established by Max Media Group publishing house (magazine "Autocomponents"), are chosen by professionals and end users of spare parts.
During the event more than 500 manufacturers from 25 countries participated in it, and more than 150,000 people voted in the consumer categories. During this time 189 laureates have been awarded and more than 140 industry experts have been involved.
Information support for the award is provided by more than 50 major media outlets, including TV and radio. Materials about the IAC are posted by brand representatives, distributors, spare parts stores, service stations, professional associations, analytical and marketing agencies. Information coverage before and after the award exceeds 600,000 people.
Today, the award includes 16 nominations, objectively reflecting the Russian market of automotive components industry.
The organizers of the award hope for the soonest resolution of the situation with the coronavirus pandemic and wish you first of all health and thank you for your support and loyalty in this difficult time.
